Pale blue with mauve background is backdrop for brilliant pinpricks of neon greens and big splashes of red that change to pink then purple, sometimes sprinkles of orange appear like magic – high quality and excellent colour play. The boulder back of the doublet makes the slice of opal strong and stable.
