Australian Blue Sapphire

Australian Blue Sapphire, round loose unset genuinely from Australia. Not dyed with beryllium to go bright paler blue or diffused with cobalt, as mined and nature made. Almost unavailable to get the true Australian sapphires now, this is a mid blue in dim light, when moved near a window or light you can then see spectacular neon blues with a tinge of green around the rim – as this is not dyed, most Australian sapphire has blue/ green inside the gemstone. Upside down you can see the famous sergeant stripe from crystal growth – eye clean. 4.8mm in depth. For connoisseurs of  genuine only Australian sapphire. Details on size and weight below
